EcoPure® Biodegradable Plastic Technology

Our continued efforts to decrease the environmental impact that our company has, is priority in our business practice. Approxiamately 80% of our bags are recycled in house and the other plastic scrap is collected and recycled. EcoPure helps reduce the waste from the hundreds of plastic products used everyday, by rendering them degradable in a microbial environment. EcoPure is an organic additive that causes plastic to degrade through a series of chemical and biological processes. When disposed of in a microbe- rich environment, such as landfill; it allows the plastic to be consumed by the microbes present. Sustainability is defined by the Environmental Protection Agency as " An attempt to provide the best outcomes for the human and natural environments both now and the indefinite future."
